Flora, Goddess of the flowering of plants Greek Equivalent: Chloris Flora symbolises nature, flowers and the season of Spring. She was a relatively minor figure in Roman mythology, having been introduced during the time of Romulus. Her cult was small but dedicated and her festival, Floralia, was instituted in 238BC.
