This painting shows artist’s rethinking on science. In the lower part of the painting, the thruster of spaceship boosting a city way indicates that technology is tearing up the root of humanity and pushing human further and further away from the poetic oasis. All that’s left is technical relationship which leads to the end of civilization. In the middle of the painting there are strings and branes from M theory, which is the frontier of what we explore in the physical world.
