This starry sky occurred above the mountains close of Briançon, in the French Alps. Taken by a cold winter night, the sky was totally clear, offering me this amazing view of the Taurus constellation, with the Pleiades in the high part of the image, and the Hyades lower, whose brightest star is Aldebaran. That spot, reached after a 30 minutes hike from the road is almost totally unknown from photographers and is just used by some hikers, offering a very quiet and unique place.
The sky is a stack of 10x10s images and the ground is 5x4 minutes, plus 2x30s for the light of the candles I placed in the church's window.
