Time & Time again mother nature proves that despite all our efforts we can never put together the perfect plan or the perfect shot. During December of 2021 we drove up northern California to enjoy the various parks only to find ourselves caught in what was a massive storm after three years of draught. Our hopes of shooting were diminished to a mere 24 hour window which we were not sure what to expect. we woke the next morning driving further than our home base of Trinidad in hopes of passing the storm, an hour into the drive we began to see snowfall and were amazed by how the whole place transformed into a winter wonderland.
