Abstract Pop Thought

This piece was sparked by the overwhelming urge to draw one day; a feeling I have not had in over 10 years. I felt the need to explore the abstract self portraits I had in my mind, with each face representing a form of myself that I can feel yet never quite explain. My love for retro pop art sparked the overall color tones and feel of the final piece. After the completion, I noticed several "creatures" starting to appear in the shapes I was making and in subsequent additions I have started to explore them more.
