In 2017 and 2018 I traveled North America filming a documentary with my wife (fiancé at that time) 40,000km and 9 months of living on the road. Three months into the project we lost My Wife's Father. The photos I took during this time were an artistic release from the analytical documentary style of filming we were doing and also the grief of losing my father-in-law. I really discovered my own style and processes in this journey. 

The photos are in no order, the descriptions are my experience of the moment when I took the photo.

We stayed with my family through Christmas, I found a drone for sale and I figured it would help us with the filming process. This moment is almost a perfect reflection of our state of being at the time. bunkered down for the winter, waiting for our journey to start again.
