Ronald Reagan (1911-2004 AD) was an American politician who served as the 40th President of the United States from 1981 to 1989. He previously served as the 33rd governor of California from 1967 to 1975 after a career as a Hollywood actor and union leader. Often referred to as the Great Communicator, Reagan’s communication style made him well-liked and his presidency saw major tax cuts, decreased unemployment, decreased inflation, increased defense spending, major developments in technology, and the end of the Cold War.
