Pablo Escobar (1949-1993 AD) was a Colombian drug lord who was the founder and sole leader of the Medellín Cartel. He was arguably the world’s most powerful drug trafficker in the 1980s and early ’90s. Although Escobar trafficked and sold cocaine, he reportedly did not use the drug. However, he did have a liking for strong Colombian cannabis, a habit he indulged until his death.
