Queen Makeda of Sheba - Powerful Woman #003

According to scriptures, queen Makeba of Sheba came to Jerusalem to visit king Solomon, bringing a caravan of gifts such as spices, gold and precious stones like no one had ever seen before nor would ever see again. This powerful woman ruler had heard about the legendary wisdom of Solomon and came to quiz him with riddles, which the king supposedly answered to her satisfaction. Some claim that Solomon tricked the queen into sleeping with him and that, from that union, came a son who later became Emperor Menelik of Ethiopia.
