the heartcode is a protocol designed to humanize the blockchain. 

the genesis tokens are bound by transfer restrictions and incentivized by airdrops. collectors are permitted to sell or transfer their tokens only on the 27 dates titling each poem. on those same days, holders are airdropped a new piece of original artwork.
