A blunt to fakie was all it took… In my early 20’s I shattered my ankle while skateboarding in my friend's backyard mini-ramp.
The compound fracture was so severe that doctors told me I may never skate or jump again. It felt crushing to a large part of my identity and my social life as a young person.
But while confined to a sofa for 18 months, I discovered a new layer for my creativity with my first digital drawing tablet. This composition was one of the first pieces I started during my recovery period.
