This image was created in the FiDi district, where I lived when I first arrived in New York City to chase my dreams in 2010. At that time, I was fearless but couldn’t afford a camera. Now I am able to capture moments of strength and fearlessness with my camera in those same streets I grew up in. Gabriela is a Latina New York City based artist.
