Fragmentation

Fragments of memories danced through his mind, like shattered pieces of a broken mirror. Each one was a different shape, a different color, a different emotion. He couldn't seem to hold on to any one of them, they were constantly slipping through his fingers. He felt like he was losing a part of himself, as if he was being pulled apart. He couldn't understand what was happening to him, it was as if his mind and emotions were in a state of disarray. He struggled to make sense of it all, to find a way to put the pieces back together.
