Chiyoha (Eternal Leaf)

The geisha's dance begins like curving branches, bending in cadence with the wind. The sound of the shamisen flows, enchanting everything and everyone on the way. This illustration is part of my Collection 'Oriental Tales' , which pays homage to Geishas' beauty and skillfulness in traditional arts. I researched about their names, art practices, dances and culture to create this Collection. Thanks to my sister Sara and her friend Marta for modeling for me.
