Eleiden

A self-portrait is often seen as a window into the soul, and this work is no different. Originally conceived as a Classical art Piece inspired by Caravaggio evolved into a portrait of Zyralynn’s alter ego Eleiden. The brush work and lighting in this work is stunning nothing short of a master work. It also shows us the artists personal struggles and acceptance of her darker side. The face is split between that of a beautiful girl and a skull a showing the viewer a juxtaposition of life and death.
