日本の伝統や文化を『再構築』するシリーズ作品として、 近い将来、たくさんの方に幸運が訪れることを願って未来的に招き猫を描きました。 左手をあげている招き猫は人を招くとされています。 背景にはカタカナでFunk You Upと書いてあります。 As part of a series of works that 'recreate' Japanese tradition and culture, I have created a futuristic version of “beckoning cat”. Since the 1850’s it is believed that this cat has been placed in people’s homes and stores to bring fortune, success and luck. I hope that it will bring good luck to the collector! “Funk You Up" is written in katakana on the background.
