Sober #21

Hello! Superflirt here:) I am a 21-year-old indie-pop/rock artist from Summit, New Jersey. Growing up, I played drums and guitar in rock bands and then shifted to a singer-songwriter sound as I started writing and recording my own music. I’m currently based in San Diego and have been leaning into a nostalgic, upbeat 80’s sound. I love creating music with huge punchy drums, reverberated guitar lines, and layered vocals. “Sober” is an anthem for that sober friend at a party. When I wrote this I was so over people acting like I owed them an explanation for why I didn’t want to drink.
