After decades of tinkering, the alchemist finally found a way through. In what felt like another lifetime she had seen one of the strange ephemeral creatures open the very space around it, walking into whatever lay beyond. Bearing witness to this, whether accident or fate, bore an intense fixation. For a moment the world she knew was revealed for what it truly was: the surface of a fathomless ocean. She had dedicated the better part of her life to uncovering what secrets lay beyond our perceived world, discovering without a doubt that much of our world lay beyond our perception. Reality was like a white like that containing many colors…if only she could tap into the right frequency…
