There stands a door 50 ft tall, in a cavern a mile beneath the mountainous region of Baeltreus. The space is illuminated by the thin strands of bioluminescent silk, spun by a strange species of caterpillar. A single narrow crack in the door’s massive obsidian frame appears to be the source of the unusual insect. Locked for millennia, the door’s origin has been lost to the silence of unwritten history. What lay hidden beyond the gleaming black entrance is anyone’s guess, the only hint being the sound of strange machinations coming from even deeper within the earth.
