I had gone in because I thought I was having a heart attack. I had chest pain, pain in between my shoulder blades, and I couldn’t breathe. Turns out I had multiple pulmonary embolisms in both lungs. They were strangling my heart and I’m lucky to be alive and grateful that I decided to go immediately instead of waiting.
