Pagoda #1/6

No trip to China is complete without visiting the Great Wall and there are many sections that remain accessible, none more so than at Badaling where the wall has been extensively restored. However, there are throngs of tourists here which make photography a challenge, especially for someone looking for some authenticity. Amongst the smog covered hills there are opportunities for images and this Pagoda is one of them. The wall itself can just be seen in the distance on the second plane of recession and I feel this image encapsulated much of my China experience.
