One of the cities I love to visit in the UK as much as possible is Brighton. Not only for the wonderful beach vibe but also for The Lanes, a series of streets bustling with an eclectic mix of people as well as shops and cafes. One of the markets offers an Aladdin's cave of memorabilia and antiques including random old photographs from yesteryear. I instantly fell in love with these photos as I imagined the lives of the people in them and decided to incorporate them into my artworks and PERSISTENCE OF REALITY is the first artwork in this series.
