Fleeting Thoughts 1 (R code, 9/22/2021). This is generative artwork with three iterations (numbers 1,2,3). The code drew a series of 55 orbits from widest to narrowest with random jitter added to the center of each one. The approximately sixty segments in each orbit were randomly transformed into circles or rectangles with varied proportions. An unseen, smoothed warp field was used to rescale all of the shapes. Colors were selected from a jittered and variable gradient, based on distance from the center. Finally, a black disc was added to the center of the smallest orbit.
