Reflection of Self UGLY

When I heard the theme was crossroads I wanted to explore the idea of meeting oneself in the mirror. I continue my UGLY series with an animation of the first time it sees itself in the mirror. The first time it has to see whats looking back and determine it's idea of itself. When I look in the mirror I sometimes don't believe I really look like I do. It's a bit of a crossroads for me because I know I have the freedom to choose how I'm going to label myself and sometimes I go down different roads. I thought it would be an incredible idea to show ugly going through this process that I go through everytime I look in the mirror.
