Order, Disorder

Reality seems to exist in a precarious balance between order and disorder. One of the greatest illustrations of this is in nature, - the great order of the landscapes around us, fighting the disorder imposed by living things. This piece uses multiple iterations of painting and distortion using ArtBreeder GAN AI. The painting process uses my usual preferred mixed media in Corel Painter -chalks, pastels and oils.
