Slither Along

A bamboo pit viper slithers along to hide behind the ferns after a meal, showing off all its beautiful colorations. We know this is a male because of the red line accompanying the white line on its side. We know it's young because of the white spots on top of the body, visible here near the tail. And we know it's a venomous bamboo pit viper because of the rusty red tail. This is a 1/1 wildlife photo.
