Photographing lighthouses is a surreal experience. You're capturing a moment in time of a subject that has seen countless stormy nights. Lighthouses have guided countless ships to their safety through turbulent seas. That's why I love them so much. They are the beacon of light in times of uncertainty and fear. I look to them as a source of calm. I feel a great duty to photograph them well to help preserve their timelessness for others to enjoy.
