Legendary Weapons: Ragnarok- Mjölnir

The first of a collection of legendary weapons, and a piece of the upcoming entry to the Ragnarok series. This weapon will be introduced with Thor for the upcoming battle scene. The concept for the design was something that would be made from the elemental stones of my first Ragnarok entry, and the legendary hammer is using a form of gold to help control the flow of lightning through the weapon. The sense of an electric source running through the handle was hand painted to give a sense of power. The basis of the design was a concept that I painted but with a bit more of a fantasy feel. On the sides of the handle there are pieces of embedded skin from a younger Jörmungandr.
