Claire, 22

"Claire, 22" was the first real hipster in San Francisco that I knew. She consumed every part of independent culture when it actually took research and time to understand (pre-social media). The attitude displayed in this portrait was her constant and true character. "Bedrooms" is a limited series of 20 photographs taken in 2008 in San Francisco of artists, musicians, skateboarders, and debutantes in their most personal space, their bedrooms. All images in this series were shot with a Hasselblad camera and Fuji Pro 400 color negative film.
