Suspected death of immigrants

The suspected death of thousands of migratory birds in the Miankaleh wetland area located in north of Iran(south eastern of Caspean sea) has raised concerns among indigenous peoples and the environmentalists. No one knows the cause of death of these migratory birds and various rumors have been spread about the cause of their death such as getting sick with the flu, botulism, sewage, and the use of contaminated and poisonous bait by hunters.
