VAL Sex Dream (Boy), 2019 Hand-drawn animation, 1080 x 1080 pixels This GIF is an excerpt from my short film 'VAL Sex Dream', a video work that explores queer isolation, futurism, and trans-geographical longing. The figure ripples with tension and anxiety, transgressing conventional gender identities and sexualities. Initially created for the closing party of an underground arts and culture venue in Vancouver, BC, this work went on to be exhibited at Tomato Mouse, NY, and Art Toronto 2020.
