The day I shot this photograph, I spent almost 13 hours attempting to replicate the color pallet I had pulled from Edward Hopper's many Night streetscapes, I came across this scene around 4 hours in. In order to achieve the same point of view as Hopper, I stood in a muddy large cement pot for plants for around 30 minutes because it gave me a point of view 3 or 4 feet above the average human point of view, something I noticed in Hoppers work a few months earlier.
