Kavous was an Iranian professor and environmentalist who was imprisoned in the notorious Evin prison on false charges of espionage. 2 weeks after his arrest, he was pronounced dead under suspicious circumstances.
The cover is a childhood photo of Raam’s family by the sea, reminiscent of a more peaceful time in their lives.
