Intentional camera movement (ICM) over the ocean. This is a shot taken at sunset over the Pacific Ocean, from Doheny State Beach in California. I grew up camping on the beach here and this place holds so many incredible memories for me. We had so much freedom here as kids and it was awesome to spend a weekend shooting here in 2019 and reminiscing about my childhood here. For this shot, I used a 10 stop neutral density filter and shot a long exposure of the ocean at 1/3 of a second, as I steadily panned the camera to capture movement, lines, and colors instead of the actual scene.
