Beautiful scenery of a comet falling on the ridges of the Alps in Japan.
C/2021 A1 (Leonard) is an inbound long period comet discovered by G. J. Leonard at the Mount Lemmon Observatory on 3 January 2021.
At the foot of the mountain, you can see the lights of the city and feel the lives of the people living there.
The contrast between the human scale and the enormous scale of the universe is so clear in this photo that it makes me feel that I am part of this universe.
After passing by the Earth, this comet (C/2021 A1) will never come back.
This is a miracle shot that can only be taken on this day, at this time, and at this moment.
