"SHELL" showcases a very famous Cambridge landmark in a way it has not been before, and is currently the crowning jewel of a project I am working on that documents the storms of Massachusetts' winter season.
Put up in 1944 and untouched since, this sign has become an architectural icon to the Boston community. Unlike the constantly updating signs of the company itself, this one is never changed and provides a constant contrast between the evolving city & it's vintage-like aura.
