The elusive Icelandic arctic fox has been my favorite model for over 10 years. This young, white female slipped on her white dress to discreetly explore the Westfjords in search of new territory. The first winter is the most critical time for young arctic foxes as they must successfully find food on their own and gain acceptance from dominant foxes. When we met, she started to walk around me with a submissive attitude, to see if I was a danger.
