Vertebra is an homage to the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen.
It explores the human experience of holding in our emotions. The vertebra bone structure is portrayed outside of the human body, conceptualizing the weight of our sins and trauma. No matter how much we try to leave behind our past, it seems to find us and weigh down on our physical bodies. It pours out into the real world and manifests into something that alters how we look, feel, and interact with the world around us.
