Ending the year with a bang, Champagne Ripples is my last piece of 2022. It's been a difficult year, and the creation of this piece echoes that sentiment. I've gone through quite a bit of personal trials this year and have embraced more personal growth than any other particular year in my life. It's only proper that this piece was just as difficult. I went to my favorite painting spot on a snowy 20 degree day to execute this painting. Even with handwarmers on deck, my hands kept getting frozen and numbing, limiting my movement.
