"This One's For You" is the first of nine hand-embroidered letters and long-form poems from the series "Cheap Sheets and Soiled Smalls" completed between May 2015 and March 2019.
Each one was inspired by a specific chapter or relationship in my life.
Love, Sex, Money, Health, the physical body, reality vs fantasy, being a woman, commitment to being an artist, aging, beauty, spiritualism, truth, justice, addiction, and purpose are just some of the themes that inspired me during the completion of this body of work.
