Self Portrait (Birth/Death)

In my ongoing exploration of all the kinds of "edges" of metaverse worlds, I also found that bodies of water hide substantial experiences and whole worlds sometimes. This self portrait explores the transition between the over world and under world, feeling like a birth and death cycle. Metaverse worlds allow a space for playing with all kinds of transitions like this. This series began while on assignment for National Geographic magazine and moved into a more personal and long term exploration of Edge Studies. (Filmed in VRChat in a world by Fins.)
