The Sin

"The Sin" is 1 of 3 unique works from Primeval fall triptych. The portrayed scene is a part in The Book of Genesis when Eve lets Adam to taste the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge after a serpent persuades her to do so, and after which Adam and Eve get the ability to understand and experience negative concepts of shame and evil. The work is a modern visual interpretation of the story drawn in the surreal and constructivist style merging the visual poetics of two artists. The woman is portrayed in the form of a vulva, while the man resembles the stone-like, abstract shape.
