Triumph of the Valkyries

In the war between nations and peoples, the earth sucked a great deal of blood. The blood became fertilizer for the earth, and the survivors passed on the stories of the blood that was shed. The knight known as the "Apostle of Valhalla" returned much blood to the earth on numerous battlefields. Promising the prosperity of the kingdom, the knight returned triumphant. But the knight knew. The truth of this conflict. Her enemies feared her as a demon, her friends praised her as a goddess. In every age, gods have been demons. To the bloody knight, the devil was the state itself. The knight could only look up at the king, who smiled evilly.
