I've been safely stuck in Trinidad since the beginning of the Pandemic, not able to return if I were to leave, due to the borders being closed to non-nationals. I transitioned into the full time caregiver to our son for most of that time and was not able to continue being a photographer. I struggled, but eventually pushed myself to start taking one photo a day of the world right in front of me. It was a practice in beginning to see again.
