Lush

Taken near the north shore of Kauai, this spot is where the town of Hanalei, the Na Pali mountains, and a valley of taro fields all converge. The Waioli stream can be seen cutting through the valley on its way to Hanalei Bay. Its waters, having made their way as rainfall down the mountains, will once again become part of the sea. This area receives an immense amount of rainfall, ensuring it stays lush and green year-round. On this particular evening, the sun was shining brightly over me as I enjoyed this breathtaking scene.
