The sight of the fire station damaged by occupiers in Zaikivka (Kharkiv) struck the artist: The building, intended for fire protection, became a victim of burning hatred. However, the structure was not completely destroyed, — its Neo-Gothic watchtower remains standing.
Over the past hundred years, the city of Kharkiv has grown significantly. The tower should not only be an artifact of the past; it must also rise into the sky and transform into a lighthouse. One that cuts through the darkness of hatred and destruction with a powerful lantern of hope.
