In August, 2022 I traveled to the back channels of Australia for a rare flooding event. For the first time in over 100 years, the amount of rain in the desert has caused extreme flooding, which has changed the dry landscapes forever. Because of the unusual rain, life has sprung forth in one of the most remote places in the world. Every day was filled with wildlife sightings and incredible vibrant color in soil as it was budding with new foliage.
