Thurisaz

Thurisaz can be compared to a lightning strike caused by the voltage that occurs between negative and positive charges. Thurisaz once shattered the forces of chaos that were hostile to the cosmic order and today it continues to protect the order it created, and to prevent space from falling back into chaos. Although its power can also be destructive, it is usually used for a beneficial end: it breaks an old pattern or energy that is no longer serving a helpful purpose, in order to remove it and replace it with something newer and better.
