Eihwaz

Eihwaz represents the continuous nature of the cycle of life, which incorporates birth and death in natural succession. It is associated with the plant kingdom and especially with the yew tree, which is a symbol of longevity and eternal life. The rune itself resembles the spine or trunk of a living being.
