It's 1975, TimeTravel_0 has just obtained the IBM 5100 vital to humanities existence after 2036. It's late 2000 and posts on early forums begin to tell the tale of the past, linked to the future. It's 2001 and John Titor continues the posting. March 2001 comes and brings an end to the cryptic posts about the future.
